These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by KAM Auto Electrical & Heavy Diesel ("we", "us", or "our"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We provide auto electrical, heavy diesel mechanical, air conditioning, and safety system services for vehicles and heavy equipment. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Heavy diesel mechanical servicing
- Air conditioning system repair and recharging
- Safety system installations
- Custom electrical installations
- Mobile field service
2. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are estimates based on information provided and visual inspection where applicable
- Final pricing may vary if additional work is required beyond the initial scope
- We will seek your approval before proceeding with any work that exceeds the quoted amount
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- GST is included in all prices unless otherwise stated
3. Mobile Service
For mobile field service:
- Travel charges apply based on distance and time
- Travel charges will be quoted in advance where possible
- You must provide safe access to the equipment and work area
- You are responsible for any permits or access requirements at your site
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
- We accept bank transfer, cash, and major credit cards
- For commercial accounts, payment terms may be arranged in writing
- Overdue accounts may incur interest and collection costs
- We reserve the right to retain possession of goods until payment is received in full
5. Consumer Guarantees Act
All services are provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This means:
- Services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill
- Services will be fit for the purpose specified
- Services will be completed within a reasonable time
- Services will be provided at a reasonable price (if not agreed beforehand)
6. Warranty
- We stand behind our workmanship
- Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third-party interference
- Warranty claims must be made promptly upon discovering an issue
7. Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or the value of the service provided
- We are not liable for consequential losses, including loss of income, profit, or use of equipment
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults not disclosed or discovered during initial inspection
- You are responsible for removing personal items from vehicles or equipment before service
8. Cancellations
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
- Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee
- Cancellation fees will be waived for genuine emergencies
9. Equipment and Parts
- We use quality parts and materials suitable for the application
- If you supply your own parts, we cannot warranty them
- Old parts will be disposed of unless you request otherwise
- Diagnostic findings are based on symptoms presented at the time of inspection
10. Health and Safety
We comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. We may refuse to work on equipment that poses a safety risk to our technicians. You must inform us of any hazards present at your work site.
